Long Retractable Soot Blower (LRSB) Drive for Boiler

A long retractable soot blower is a device used in boilers for cleaning the internal walls of the pipes for removing accumulated soot, ash and other particulate matter to increase the thermal efficiency. It consists of a long tube or lance that can be extended into the furnace, and is equipped with high- pressure steam or air to blast away the suit. It also rotates the steam nozzles while travelling thereby removing the suit from all over the internal walls of pipes. The retractable feature allows for the lance to be pulled back into a safe position when not in use. It uses single motor to achieve two movements Rotation of the steam nozzle pipe & moving forward and backward.
